holy crap!! LOL 50 is way too much :D!! You can start at 30 and go from there. I run them at 24 at 15lbs, I could probably get away with a little more gap, but it has worked for me so I am not messing with it :D

I think you'd be fine. What are you using for tuning? Do you have an A/F gauge (wideband) ?

I assume that would be right. If you have to pay for a tune, do not buy a mail-order tune. Get the car to a dyno and get it dynotuned, the car will drive much, much better. If you stay out of boost, the car will drive like stock, well not quite, but it should be good enough to allow you to get...

doesn't the Turbonectics kit come with a tuner?

I think you should keep the stock setup for now since the Turbonectics tune is set around the stock MAF besides I don't think you'll peg the stock MAF with that setup. Run the stock unit and if you run into problems related to the MAF sensor, then upgrade.

all I can gather from the pics and location of the MAF is that he was using an aftermarket Mass air flow meter and that its electronics would not fit like the stock one.

you can install steering rack limiters to keep the wheels from turning all the way in
