    Started Suspension work!

Finally and update! I was finally able to spend some time on the freaking car to get it ready for the Make a Wish cruise. So far: -got suspension components in (except for panhard bar. Might not run it after all) -cleaned up/ hid most of the wiring. -Upgraded Turbo to a larger unit (Borg...

I have only bought brake lines from them, so to answer some of your questions 1- yes 2- don't know 3-try dealer, junkyard or 50resto.com 4- 5- my brake lines did not come with the rubber coating, but it maybe an option from them (you could ask) 6- my brake lines were complete (except for clips)...

Brake problems on a 97 cobra

I once had a set of non-vented, cross drilled rotors from Baer that every time I applied the brakes it would make a rattling sound (similar to when a kid put a playing card close to the bicycle's wheel spokes). But your rotors are slotted, not corss-drilled so I don't think that is the problem...

Steeda Ball Joints and Bump Steer Kit

you do not need a bump steer kit, or Steeda balljoints with stock height springs. Those items are used to help correct the changes to suspension geometry after the car has been lowered.

    temp guage

Weren't you doing intake/head work recently? Could be trapped air in the cooling system, check that first since it doesn't cost anything to fix. If that's fine, then move on to the thermostat or the gauge sending unit

    time for boost

Good luck to you! If I would have know that you were ready to jump into the Turbo stuff I would have cut you a great deal on a 76mm Ball bearing Turbonetics I took off my car. Anyways, keep us updated :awesomework:

    Oil in throttle body

I think your problem is not having a baffle in you valve cover. If I were you I would first try removing the vacuum hose and cap the intake side and put one of those tiny (ricer) air filter that they sell at Autozone on the valve cover nipple. In theory by doing this (and keeping the pcv in...

    Check this turbo kit out

B&g turbo makes a nice, yet affordable kit. I am currently running their headers which I got back in 06 and they are still going (though recently I did have to fix a small crack due to the weight of the turbo I used, not really because of poor craftsmanship or inferior materials) I already made...

    Check this turbo kit out

yes, cracked parts can be replaced, but it is just not worth it. I mean, after you spend a few days installing the kit or, worse case scenario, paying someone else to do it and then have a header crack after 1000 miles and have to do it all over again or pay someone again...it is just not worth...

    Check this turbo kit out

ALL the kits will make power, the problem with them is that they do not last. And the problem is not rust, the problem is cracking of the tubes and welds. this picture belongs to a fellow member of TTF.com (this is not On3 performance kit, but they are all very similar)
