    T5 question

no, he used a 55 chevy car bellhousing. in the truck with a bench seat the s10 shift location was perfect. i think the ford tailshaft housing will bolt to your gearbox, you'll probably need to use the ford top cover also as the shift location and shift rod length and mechanism may be slightly...

    T5 question

you just need to swap a tailshaft housing and top cover from an s10 on to it. this will straighten out the mount and move the shifter farther forward. my father did this to his 49 chevy truck and it worked perfect!

Not so sure about these numbers !!?

don't get too hung up on rwhp numbers. remember, a dyno is a tuning tool, that it. be happy that you know your tune is good now. take it to the drags to get some real performance numbers that actually matter:)

your favorite head/cam/intake setup on a shortblock 302ci??

i guess i didn't think about talking to a builder. i was just assuming that he was doing everything himself at home, armed with whatever knowledge he may have. yeah, talking to a good engine builder would be the way to go. and believe me, i have never once under estimated a push rod engine...

your favorite head/cam/intake setup on a shortblock 302ci??

i hear ya, but we're talking about a stock shortblock with a good topend. you won't find 10's on a stock short block, and we've all seen those people with "custom" parts that can hardly break 13's. i'm just thinking that an off the shelf top end kit is a good way for an inexperianced engine...

your favorite head/cam/intake setup on a shortblock 302ci??

^^ dude, an edelbrock rpm top end kit on a stock short block with 4.10's and a good tire will do 12's no problem. i've witnessed it a hundred times.
