    after looking at some bullitt engine pics i realized that your car already has a driver side oil fill so may be as long as you get driver side oil fill valve covers you'll be ok

    no, but i live right near them. you probably saw my car there the day i had it inspected. i used wrinkle black paint on mine and its been holding up just fine since i did it back in may. just make sure you clean them really good with acetone to get all the oil off before painting

    another thought, our valve covers are plastic. can plastic be powdercoated? i don't thinks so but i'm not sure, painted a color of your choice would look just as good though

    no problem. you may be able to switch to a set that has the driver side oil fill for you powdercoated show ones, they are probably easier to find than bullitt ones. just a thought

    you need a bullitt specific passenger side valve cover. it has a different oil fill tube to clear the bullitt manifold inlet

    you really shouldn't need copper sealing spray and 10 ft/lbs of torque won't make a difference like tha problem you had and if you deck and head was warpped that bad the motor wouldn't have ran before the gasket went. i think you had a defective gasket. but on second thought i would also check...

    sounds like the wrong gasket or maybe the install was wrong, meaning the wrong side was facing up or down, whichever way you want to look at it

    the front need a 1 inch spacer to clear and the rear will clear with some grinding to the caliper from everything i have read

    thats exactly what i did on a back road out in the country. sending the logs and receiving new tune via email was kind of a pain but i think it was my best option as there really isn't anyone to go to around me for a dyno tune. thanks man.

    not to highjack this thread but how good does tuning via datalogging and email work? does it get you close to a dyno tune or is it as bad as a "custom" email tune?

    the coil was broke the whole time i had the car with the stock springs, i never knew it until i put the drop springs in. it didn't even sit unlevel. its just the last coil on the bottom. you could install them as is but its up to you, i don't think it would be unsafe

    i dug the springs out after work and one front spring is actually missing almost a whole coil at the bottom. you could cut the other one to match it if you want, its up to you
