Hmm, you got me there. Im all old school-- Southside lowers with battle boxes, SVO uppers (remember SVO?), Moog rear springs (+1 inch over stock), stock front springs and Strange adj. struts. My car 60fts 1.55-1.60. with a 275/60-15 dr.

    internal problem please help!

A clicking noise could be a loose rocker, collapsed lifter, ever so slight header leak or in the worst case a rod bearing. Is the idle going up and down?

1/4 mile time with my setup

What does your car weigh? How about suspension? With a gt40 intake, tfs heads, e303 and the other mods you listed I ran 12.1 at 3450lbs.

    Need Help again

Looking at that second video I would say the crank is junk. If so you may get away with just replacing it. As for the car running, it will run witout a balancer at idle just fine but as the rpms go up so do the harmonic vibrations and then you get boom... How are you reading oil pressure? Stock...

87 5.0 won't start - ignition ok, fuel pump ok

You changed the plugs but the car still isnt hitting on all 8 cylinders? Are you sure ? If so just pull one wire at a time while the car is running and when you get to the one thats not firing there wont be any change in the way the car idles. A bad cap, coil, wires etc would also explain the...

87 5.0 won't start - ignition ok, fuel pump ok

Yes but the tube on the back of the head is for the smog pump. The egr riser is in the center of each head. with the egr passage in the middle of the intake. If your heads dont have the risers (which there are few) then the egr function stops. But as long as the valve is there and connected the...

87 5.0 won't start - ignition ok, fuel pump ok

You can never stop learning........ Its actually a double edged sword. The egr is active at all times except at wot. So if the lines are bypassed then you have hot exhaust gasses heating up the intake while the engine is running, then at wot the intake is heatsoaked. OR You leave the lines on...

The warming lines are cooling lines when the egr valve opens and 1500 deg. exhaust gases enter the intake.

Thats better. I cant see this pic on the first page. All I get is a little red x. You are right though, that water pump is spinning backwards. It does have the right pulley on it though. I wonder if it was changed?

Those are coolant lines for the throttle body spacer. They do not affect speed density but they should be connected.

    fuel line repair kit

No such thing. If the line is bad it needs to be replaced or you have to make two unions and splice a new section in.

If that car has a cam in it, it will not run right with a speed density system. As far as bad sensors go, the ACT will make the car puke black smoke if it is bad.
