What Dave was trying to say was if you go with a 1.7 ratio rocker, you won't need to change the cam. 1.7 rockers will give you about all the extra lift you would want with stock heads, valves, springs and pistons. And the rockers are way easier to install than a cam.

It's the name that's gets you so much attention here.

If your talking about the PCV valve (Small valve that goes in the valve cover or rear of the intake), you don't want that hooked to vacuum. It was never hooked to a vacuum source to begin with. It will cause a major loss of vacuum and would place the crank case under vacuum all the time.
