Yup. It's funny because right after you sent me that super special, out of the blue, just because you care, text, the truck drove by me. I wasn't quick enough with the phone.

    WOW

I also learned that they use only Stainless that is made here in the United States and not that crap made in china. And there made right here in New York so it doesn't get much better. I sound like a fricken infomercial for them.

What do you run in the front?

True dat. Mine was a 2001 3 door in "Jackpot Gold Metallic". Yes I bought it brand new in that color, $269 a month at 2.9%, how could I not buy it? Drove to Lake Placid every day so the 33mpg came in handy.

Altona, Sciota and Irona, the Tri City area. Lots of bad ass machines have come from that location. Right here in Chazy i keep seeing a new Toyota Tacoma with 6" mighter cut stainless stacks. I'm gona get a pic on my phone next time I see it and send it to you.

I just got too see a set of American Racing Headers for the first time in person and all I could say was....WOW. By far the nicest looking and best constructed headers I have ever seen. Buddy of mine ordered a set for his 09 ZO6 on Friday, they were built to order on Monday and they were...

Primer is porous, meaning it will soak up water like a sponge. It will let water get to the metal under the primer and rust. It will also let water get to any filler you have used, that is also porous, and cause you much more work than just scuff it up and prime it again. If you try and seal...

What do you run in the front?

I'm sure glad someone knows something about this piece of shit. 555's all the way around it will be. Thanks guys.

What do you run in the front?

I actualy have 555's on all 4 corners right now but havn't driven it enough to know if I like them. On top of that they are just about shot so it would be hard for me to judge either way. This will be a fair weather car only so dry traction is my only concern.

What do you run in the front?

I hadn't really given this much thought till I was reading on Nittos site. For obvious reasons they only want there drag radials run on the rear of the car. I am sure they were never intended as a steering tire. So what do I run up front and not have it look stupid? Right now it wil be...

Primer is huge. I love going from 5 different colors of filler, couple different colors of spot primer, bare metal, to one solid color of primer. Almost as nice as base/clear, lol.

I've been there, I know what your saying. It's hard to do for cheap and still have something that looks decent.

I havn't done single stage in about 15 years so I can't tell you how much. Only thing your going to save on is the clear and the base is more expensive to begin with, or it was back then.

It will depend if you go with an acrylic or urethane primer and sealer, ChromaBase or ChromaPremier base color (along with what color you choose) and what clear you use. The ChromaPremier Clear on it's own with out the thinner or activator is in the $250 a gallon range. You can plan on...

I have never seen a dupont primer or sealer have any issues over another product.

Alot of good advice has been given so far. I like the dupont line of products. For a good inexpensive paint job you would start with, Dupont 131s, good high build sandable acrylic primer, thin with appropriate temp reducer Dupont 1986s acrylic sealer, Ready to shoot right out of the can...
