    motor combo

You can run it, but there are some better choices out there. Just be sure to check the piston to valve clearance just to be on the safe side.

    Which motor?

I meant just the 351 block, I wouldn't leave the stock heads on it, lol.

    new gas tank help

I would leave it on also, not gaining anything by leaving it off and having the cover on might prevent it rusting.

    Which motor?

The easiest way would be to supercharge your 302, but you will have to upgrade at least your heads to have the power to get there. Of course suspension and drag radials or slicks, and the driver will be factors in getting to the 10 sec mark. Then again the stock 302 block is limited to about 450...

Getting Ready To Set My Car On Fire

If you are off a tooth or two you won't be able to advance or retard the timing enough to get it right. You should probably take the dizzy back out and crank the number one piston to tdc at the compression stroke and put the dizzy back in with the rotor pointing at that cylinder. Then set the...

    Professional Products...

Well the professional products typhoon intake is a copy of the Edelbrock performer, with the exception that maybe the intake runners need to be cleaned up a little bit. I'm not sure about their throttle bodies though, you can take a look at the TFS throttle bodies on summit racing, I would think...

    Which motor?

Well I'm sure you have already saw the thread of 331 vs. 347, but it really depends on your budget. A 408 would be wicked in a fox. Do you want to be naturally aspirated, or boosted? Personally, I wouldn't put a big block in a fox when you can get the power with less weight on the front and cheaper.

    Sometimes it won't start ??????

I must've forgotten that those ones didn't have dizzys, my 88 has one on it. I would still check for codes, is that the one with 8 plugs? Maybe the coil pack is shot?

    Sometimes it won't start ??????

Could be the ignition pickup sensor in the distributor, or possibly the tfi module. Check for codes and see what you get, even if the cel isn't on.

I would double check the timing first with a timing light and go from there. You didn't get any codes? Even if there is no cel on, you can still have some.

Jim, I drive my car in the rain, but its no fun cruising with friends in the rain. You can't really do anything, no light to light, no goosing it, nothing unless you want to wrap your car around a telephone pole or get into an accident. No rain means some fun can be had, lol.

Hmm, idling rough or just runs rough all the time? What cam do you have in it? Also, have you checked for codes? I've heard that the 94-95 mustangs are more finicky to upgrades like hci than the 87-93s, a tune would probably help things out.

I don't have any complaints about the hood I have from Cervini's. It was already installed when I bought the car, I just wish that they put the mesh in the ram air vents to keep the pine needles out of it.
