    That doesn't make much sense, that almost sounds like what mine was doing. My mechanic hooked up the reader and couldn't find any codes on it and basically told me good luck with it because he couldn't figure out what was wrong. The only way I could get any codes was running the koeo and koer...

    Have you checked the codes yet? You could probably go to advance auto or autozone and they can use the obd1 reader and see what codes they can pull. Or if you don't want to do that you can run the koeo and koer tests to see what you get. You can search for them on google to see how to do them...
