yes, the gas turbine shaft is connected to a generator and puts power to the grid.

gas turbine yes but in a power producing application (instead of thrust application). the one in the pic is rated at 260MW (or ~350000 HP) and is definitely way to big to put on the wing of any airplane.

check out BG custom turbo kits, they are less than $3K and are a good compromise between the available boost from a v3 and a kb. . . plus they'll make at least 40HP more than a supercharger kit at the same boost level. -chris

I have an old Pro-M 80mm meter (the plastic one) calibrated to 36lbs. During the last dyno session I had, the meter clipped at 1076kg/hr at 4500RPM and beyond. So for sure the 36lbs injectors are not ideal but I am making up for it with the FMU that is boosting the fuel pressure and some WOT...
