The middle bolt on the passenger side is a bitch to get to. Forget about torqueing it to anything as well as the front driver side which is a nut on a stud. In contrast, the cobra intake had all bolts easily accessible, get a torque wrench on all with ease.

I've gotten good results from the systemax. But it is a PITA to install the upper to lower . . .defintely wasn't designed for assembly. The edelbrock looks a little better and I heard its similar in performance. I do miss the cobra intake, decent results and a piece of cake to get on and off

Depends on what new car out there you are comparing it to. Besides who pays sticker price for a car anyways. Give it a year once the hype isn't fresh anymore and you'll be able to get it for invoice. When the 03 cobra came out I waited until oct in '02 and got it for invoice, and I'm far from...

Since they are original 93 cobra rims, they will not work on a normal fox body without longer rear axles and a taller rotor hat. The backspacing is much more, the exact number escapes me. Caution.

How is it idling? If the distributor is set in the approximate right place, it could be that the computer is using the timing to hold the idle as well. So that opens up the question of what is the idle air control and the a/f doing

That is impressive, I have driven an 08 M3 and it felt strong and revving to 8000RPM+ is something else. Can't wait to test drive one of these new GT's.
