Haha I forgot to hit reply button:smash: I just got one from a GT500 for my LX. They are rebuildable and hold up decent for a street/strip car. My friend got a new True Trac for his GT500 but those cars are heavy and can destroy a traction lok pretty good.

Really a 31 spline Ford Racing diff will work, if you plan a lot of track use maybe get an Eaton or True Trac.

the chunk fell out after the piston was taken out, you can kinda see where it had melted away some of the piston. The lower ringland is cracked too.

Some have broken with 400rwhp some have taken 600rwhp for years and been ok. There are a lot of guys making 500rwhp on stock 94/95 shortblocks. Keep in mind the 93 Mustangs including the Cobra all had that same shortblock. The hyper pistons will not take much detonation though before failure...
