Chrome. I have some pics, I have to find them.

I still have to pull the windshield out, it is only a few bolts, but man what a pain in the ass. All that to replace some weatherstripping. after that, It needs new ball joints and bushings. I have to find the pics.

my tr6 needs an engine rebuild. its got 103,000 miles and is burning oil. but it still runs pretty good

Thats what i thought to. but doesnt a manual run the 1/4 mile quicker than an auto. but then i dont get why most drag cars are auto.

Stock Manual vs Stock auto. MANUAL wins. Throw some mods.. get alot of horses... things change

Same here, i also live in Queens, right next to the mall. There are weekly meets in Queens ( which i`m still trying to find out when and where ). Do you have any car at all or the mustang will be your first car ?

Hey whats up everyone. Im Sean and im ready to join the mustang worldddd. Im 17 and looking for my first car. Its deff going to be a mustang. Just havnt decided on which one. Should i get a fox body (1988-1993) or a new edge (1999-2004)? I like both of them. This is going to be my daily driver. It has to be a V8 and a 5spd. I like the foxs because they have the 5.0 and remind me more of a muscle car whereas the newer one is more modern and would probley be better for everyday. I dont know which to get. Im on a budget of 6.5K. Thanks for the help and i look foward to meeting all of you in the near future

Come on Steve, Read man, his max is 6.5k.


As for the whole auto vs 5sp. If it is going to be a pure track car, I would go with an auto. But if you are DD the car with a few track days, then go with what makes you happy. Remember, there isn't ant legal 1/4 mile on the streets, take it to the track.


And that vid you posted, that sounded like just a set of Ford racing Hot rod cams, the e303 are the heads.

Your call though. I am looking to change my dads 5sp to auto.
