    Both would work no problem, but the second one will fit the nose of your Mustang a lot better (31x11x3) the other one has 12" height with would hang below the radiator support.

    It sounds like you the car is running really lean, like you are running out of fuel. Which fuel pump are you using? Injectors?

    The noise when hitting a bump could be either a strut or bad balljoint. Steering wheel play could be tie rod ends, wheel bearing, steering shaft, or balljoints. You have to get under the car and inspect everything.
