is it a race car or street car? if it is a race car you can install a switch and turn on the pump manually, independent from the ignition switch

you mean the "trigger wire" does not get any power? You can wire your own, if that's the case. You just need a source that stays on while cranking

try replacing it. Even if you have to pay to get it done.

Your problem is fuel delivery. Either the pump, the injectors (long shot), the tune, or something as simple as the fuel filter. IF it is clogged, you obviously will not get enough fuel to the motor specially under boost when the demand for it is higher.

the car is running very lean, DO NOT BOOST THE CAR UNTIL YOU GET THIS RESOLVED! Did you check the fuel filter?
