If you're saying putting 16" tires on a 17" rim that won't work, but if you're talking on putting 16 inch wheels on your car that had 17s then you'll be fine.

That 93 GT is a little on the high side and that supercharged one seems a little cheap to me. Personally if you can get the guy down on the all stock one I would probably go with that since it would most likely have had an easier life then the one that's blown.
