The blinker fluid is low......lol just kidding. I agree with the flasher being the most likely culprit. Like Mike65 said it should be behind the radio on a clip. Put a nice electronic flasher in there. It will outperform and outlast the typical "capacitor resistor" flasher.

Yes that's the right one. Wirh the key on unplug the reverse light plug from the sending unit on the trans. If the lights go out the sending unit is bad. If not I would check to see if there is a relay for the reverse lights. It may have stuck on but I doubt that.
