Ya, nitrous works better with high compression but there are alot of guys running over 10:1 with a SC, check over on Corral.net. With the proper octane, w/a or intercooler, it can be done. Look at all the GM's that run a SC and they have much weaker pistons and all are over 10:1. If the goal is...

I like the raw aluminum look or polished is nice as well but a PITA to take care of. I had most of the stuff on my motor powdercoated black wrinkle. Black anodized powder coat would look good though!
