new side skirts came in yesterday. They actually fit really really nice. fit with the flare is nice. Good thing the tips are only tac welded, they have to be raised about 3/8 of an inch so the top of the skirt lines up with the rocker.

spent some time and got the front bumper/ flare fitting the way I want.

since I have a couple days till the car goes to the new bodyshop i figured id tie up a couple loose ends. I fitted the vent windows So I could figure out where the mirrors had to go. dont really help a lot but better than nothing they JUST clear the vent window when its open

He argued the rust is no big deal and that it was my fault for not taking the side skirts off. He wanted to try to fix the side skirt but I want a new skirt, not one that was ran over and duraglassed back together. I tried calling him no answer. so im gonna stop by next week and see if he will...

I gotta find a shop thats in my price range. I found a couple shops I know would do an amazing job but was quoted 8-10,000 by on and 12-15,000 by another. I can only afford to pay around $5,000 for final blocking and paint.

I might come if I can ride along with someone, as for the car, it will prob be just getting it back that week so it prob would be road worthy for a couple weeks after paint/glass

yea. people don't realize how much money/time it takes to make one of these cars. oh I forgot to add the $1600 for the wheels. the car has just been sitting at the bodyshop so nothing to show yet.

its a lot of money being spent , around 7k in the next month or so

should be done in 3-4 weeks
