    1969 Vinyl Top Question

Hi, Welcome to the site,I'm not extremely well versed in the 69's but the code for A GRANDE is 65E on the door tag. If your car has that code than it definitely had a vinyl top as vinyl tops were part of the Grande package. The fact that your car is a 69 makes you fortunate in that you can...

Hi, Sadly these are not reproduced. That said do you have one on your drivers side? 66's came from the factory with 2 of them. You can measure and copy that one as they are the same for both sides.

    Correct Air Cleaner?

Hey Nm, Unfortunately that is definitely not considered to be a correct aircleaner for your car. The style you have would have been used on 1963-1964,etc. Fairlanes, comets, etc. It is a 14", The correct style for your car would be the larger 17" diameter lower clearance (for the...

    Correct Air Cleaner?

Hey, I will research it further later (busy day) But it does look like you have the wrong air cleaner. That is an earlier style that was common on tons of Fords with 260's and 289's (falcons, fairlanes, comets, etc.) 64 1/2 was funny though. Out of curiosity what was your scheduled build date...

For the record I am a computer idiot. Who knows what I did, but if you click on the "Photobucket videos" portion in each box in the above post it will take you to the intended photo. Choke Tubes question

Hi, Not knowing how your car runs currently,It's a guess. I can say that if the tube was missing from the choke housing to your manifold your choke would not pull or come off properly. So having that on would help the choke to release and keep your car from running rich due to the fact...

    Choke Tubes question

Hi, The piece you are referring to runs between the botton of the exhaust manifold and the back of the carburetors air horn. The idea behind the design was for the air to come filtered through the air cleaner,Travel down to the exhaust manifold and then up to the choke housing. I call that...
