did you put the rear sway bar on? (i cant remember the correct name for it) the bar that links both lower control arms. i left mine off for a test run and it felt like the rear was on ice.

im in the same boat as you...im pretty sure im going with the stage two AOD from www.ckperformance.com its rared to 850ftlbs of torque 3500 stall...so you might not need that much. but i drive the car on the street to much for a c4. the trans is 2900 so its not that much more then most built c4s...
