I'm still running the KC in my mach.......427 to the tire and multiple launches on sliks..... no problems so far but i'm looking to replace it soon b/c its running on borrowed time. I will say that the KC is a bit over rated though.

Pro chargers are a pretty easy install. The 99 you have will fit your car. Just my personal opinion, but I think you'd be happier with a Paxton or Vortech!

Trace the wire for the PCM for the fuel pump prime ground. The PCM might be faulty

I believe your best bet is to have a reputable machine shop check the heads for cracks and warpage. It doesn't cost much.

Save yourself a lot of aggrevation and don't buy any of them. Build your own kit. You'll save a load of money and have a better kit then you could ever buy.

I'd bet my right nut its not the PCM if its that intermittent. You have a wire rubbing and causing a short. Any more questions on how to read the diagram let me know!:awesomework:

Alright, try this. Disconnect the PCM and see if the fuse stops blowing. Then plug in the computer plug by plug till the fuse blows. You can try pulling the ccr module too. I wouldn't condemn the PCM right away. Throwing parts at a car usually ends up in frustration. GET A WIRING DIAGRAM!

If your gonna upgrade, consider the 4R70W. Nasty trans and stands up to a ton of abuse.

Start by installing a 20 amp circuit breaker so you can locate your shorted wire without going through a bunch of fuses. Then get a wiring diagram so you can trace the wire. Might sound a bit daunting, but its actually quite easy.

Check your fuel pressure. A stuck Fuel pressure regulator will give you the symptoms your speaking of.
