There are probably a lot of good engine builders down that way, IF I had a real good local engine builder that would be my 1st choice. Nothing like getting to see your engine in multiple stages and knowing what is being done.

One thing I will say is that if you are planning on forced induction don't waste $$ on building a stock block based stroker with a SC. You can make block splitting power on the stock shortblock, you are better off getting a properly built BOSS or Dart block based stroker.

The only SCT product that will work on a 5.0 Mustang (89-95) is the SCT Eliminator chip. Nothing wrong with them. The Moates QH is a few steps above but does require more knowledge. I have the QH and BE/EA and it works quite well. It is probably the best option for tuning a Mustang up to '04...

Yea he is good, I have never heard anything bad about him on the Corral everyone seems very pleased. That is who I usually suggest. I had a Fox Lake built 331 and it was a very nice engine as well. Also had ported TFS heads by Fox Lake and they were done nicely!

Definitely! I assume all else is ok but will have a better look today hopefully. I just use the typical 8548PT2 gaskets since they hold fine but let go if something isn't right. Rather have a $18 gasket crap out.
