Upgrade Upper and Lower Control Arms?

Would like to know how the Steeda Upper and lowers work out, mine just came in along with an adj pan hard bar. went with the stop the hop kit with lowered upper control arm since I'm planning on getting FRPP N springs with Steeda shocks/struts.

Headers on a V6. Lets do this again.

Avoid anything chrome with headers, unless you're a show car chrome will just stain badly and not be worth the extra $$. After doing a lot of research, I settled on a pair of Ceramic coated shorty headers from MAC. Don't know how good they are because they're still in the box, hopefully have...

There's a small handful on Autotrader across the country, typical 100k+ mileage, although there's an 08 in VA with 52k on it and has factory HID for $25k. If I remember correctly 07-09 didn't really have a lot of options, just HID, ambient light and Glass roof for 09.

V6 is only there to fill rental fleet orders and also lets Ford advertise lower starting price than competitors so they can sell a few extra units but I think this won't last much longer as Ford will cut the V6. But seeing the '16 Camaro engine line up there's a good chance Ford might refresh...

Took advantage of the Steeda Prez sale, funny how many parts I've bought the last couple years that maybe I should put them on my car finally.

Watched it last night at my friends place, it's a well done documentary which gives you good look into what it takes to develop a car not just the Mustang.

Safety recall notice 2005-2014 air bags.

Just went in last Monday since I got a notice to come in, turn out its only temporary and the dealer was adamant about not calling it an airbag but inflator. Took them a couple hours to get it done along with an oil change. Went to my usual place Hempstead Ford.

    S197 door leather insert repair

Took a look at videos on youtube like you've all said and actually looks pretty simple, I thought it be more skill intensive. My worry was that whatever cushion/backing the leather had pretty much disintegrated but looks like that wouldn't be the case as that part looks to be part of the door...

    S197 door leather insert repair

Well looks like my luck ran out and my leather door insert is now peeling off, only myself to blame since its probably from 8 years of leaving the door open when it rained while closing my parking lot gate. I know I've seen a lot of people run into the problem but haven't had luck with searching...

I want to thank you guys for a great time, even though I couldn't stay long it really was fun to see a few cars run the dyno and see some really nice ones parked all around. Got to talk to some great people, hear about their experiences, although would of liked to talk to someone from the shop...

Safety recall notice 2005-2014 air bags.

Got the notice few weeks ago, still waiting on the second. You can also check the status on the Ford site owner section. Apparently they issued a notice in December for this but guess those are bad too.

    HID vs LED headlights

Sorry for lack of an update, but unfortunately I was in the process of returning these. I had a feeling that the fog light, I have the V6 Pony Pkg, would be a tight fit but once I got back there its surprising how little room there is between the wiring and radiator, enough that there's a heat...

    HID vs LED headlights

I bit the bullet last week and got a full set of LED headlight bulbs for my S197, I feel the stock bulbs just aren't adequate lighting in pitch dark so for me it was part safety part looks. StangMods had both H11 and H13 with built in ballasts so simple plug and play. Unfortunately the weather...

Airbag Recall - Who's done them in NYC?

I go to Hempstead since a couple of the guys I worked with at Huntington moved there after closing up, but depends where in Brooklyn you live. If the site doesn't work just call up a dealer they can look it up.

I'm sure I'll get some flame for this but I got the JLT for my 07 V6, really well made, solid, and has the PVC connectors built right in, install was literally a snap.
