Ttt...just put about 200 miles on it since Fri. Runs real strong and drives like a 40k mile car. I have been to busy to install meth kit or axles/diff. I just bought a set of welds with slicks/skinnies I will sell as well with it.

That combo should run good without a tune even. Its really mild. I would have to say you may have other issues. Have you tried cleaning the maf? What did the a/f look like on the dyno? What maf are you running?

Depends what look you are going for. I don't mind the Explorer or Cobra myself but you could get a TFS or Edelbrock I guess. What mods does it have now?? I have a Holley and that is a nice intake but $$$.

What was wrong with the original lifter? Did it come apart? The stock gauge is not very accurate at all. When he had the intake off how did he clean the gasket material? If he used a air grinder with disks the material can get in the motor and tear the bearings out. OR if coolant was leaked in...

They would be fine with an E303, actually you can run even larger with no issues. I have TFS on my 331 and Edelbrock on my 5.0 in my car now. Both work great. Even the GT40X work fine, I installed those on a friends car before. I'm going to be selling my 331 soon, it has ported/polished TFS...
