Window rollers???

Hey guys....I took apart my quarter rear window 68 coupe. It was rattling and not working. Got new bolts for the track to stay affixed firmly to car. The rollers are very small. I ordered new ones. Didn't get them yet. They look small also in the photos.........My old roller fits in the track and comes right out. Is this normal? Any advice??? thanx

Hey Paul,
when you say your roller comes right out? Do you mean that it pops out of the track or that it slides out of either end?

The rollers that attach with the clip to the regulator arm. I think they are only supposed to fit in the track at the ends. However these rollers fit in in the middle of the track. Therefore they just come off also in the middle. Is this normal? thanx.

Hey paul,
You are correct they only go in from the ends. So since yours are popping out of the middle of the track they are too small or the track is bent,etc.

Hopefully the new ones will be full size...although in the photo they look same size as my old ones........If not I will rig something up somehow. Do newer year cars w/quarter windows have smaller tracks. Are all track sizes the same?
