will longtubes fit?

Ok, so recently I have had my exhaust in and out over 5 times and its still leaking!!!! These shorty headers are going to be the death of me trying to bolt the exhaust up is near impossible with how hard it is to maneuver and get bolts in with the collectors right at the starter and right by the steering box. I want long tubes so there will be no hassle with the exhaust (at least as far as hooking the down pipes and mufflers goes). I don't need top of the line anything, just something that will fit. Its a 351w block that's now a 408 stroker with AFR 225cc heads.

not a single person out there running long tubes on their 87-93 fox with a 351w powering their beast?

I dont have a fox but are you trying to figure out what headers will fit your combo???

Long tubes shouldn't be a problem but maybe a mini starter if there are clearance issues would help. . .Good Luck

anyone know of brands that tend to be more "fitting". I don't mind dimpling the headers but I'd rather get a set that have the least amount of work involved (who wouldn't). I have a smaller high torque starter, but with these shorties its such a hassle bolting up the down pipes (and I always seem to get an exhaust leak) so I am trying to eliminate any issues that make this more difficult (once the long tubes are sealed up to the heads, leaks will be much easier to diagnose since the collectors will be under the car instead of resting on the starter and steering box lol)

What are you using for gaskets and bolts? Ive found that locking bolts are must with any type of header that isn't cast. If they get loose they leak or blow out. As for a header manufacture, if you have the loot give kooks a try...
