where 2 get high octane gas?

I live in the bronx and found out my car can't run on 93 so where's da closest to get 100-110 octane? And does octane booster help at all?

Last time I bought some was from a place in Yonkers, but it was a loooonnnng time ago. I'll see if I can get you the address or phone number thru a friend.
Octane booster does not work, except for Torco (additive).
Why is it that your car cannot run on 93? Tune? Compression?

Thanks that would help a lot. . The engine was built for drag only and I tried to turn it into a street engine but the timing was to advanced I believe 28 degrees with a compression ratio of 11:1 my mechanic lowered the timing but I don't kno to wat degree and the 93 aint doin s*** then sum1 told me tha 93 is no good 100+ is recommended . .thanks again

Take the GWB to route 46 the sonaco gas station has 100 octane its at 8 dollars a gallon go late at night the whole trip will take u all of 10 minutes

dont pay attention to him he lives up state. The closest 100 octane pump ur going to find is in fort lee NJ they dont have it in the bronx anymore because of the the ricer patties

find another mechanic, you should have no problem running 93 on 11:1..... you can get racegas at sk speed and at a few stations on the island

My mechanic aint tell me tha sum1 else on the forum did but even if the compression isn't high if timing is to advanced u need the higher octane. . .sk speed on sunrise highway has race gas? I kno a gas station in freeport wit 110. . .thanks

There is a place of 17s on the southern state on the way to S&K but honestly you do not need race gas

I run 93 in my 306, and i works just fine. 10:1 compression and 32-36 degrees of timing
