When Bill Elliot attempted to break his own 22-year-old NASCAR qualifying speed record at Talladega Superspeedway back in May he unfortunately crashed the E-85 ethanol powered FR500C into the wall. At the time we wrote about his crash there were only photos but now new video has surfaced of his crash. The crash happened when he was almost out of a turn and a tire blew which sent the car into the wall ever so slightly. In the video above the crash does not look all that bad at all but the damage to the car was extensive. The video is not just only the crash but a montage of the final prep work before it goes to the track for it's record attempt. The crash happens at about 3:05 into the video.
