AmericanMuscle.com has built some pretty cool project Mustangs over the years, and the two latest are no exception – a 2014 Mustang GT that will get bolt-on performance upgrades and a 2006 Mustang GT that will be fitted with a supercharger. The aftermarket retailer is adding a little twist to the projects, though, and is pitting the two teams responsible for building the cars against one another in a Boost vs Bolt-On Showdown. Will the car with the more modern naturally aspirated engine be the winner, or will the older, blown engine come out on top?
While we’ll have to wait until the projects are finished to ultimately find out, the two teams have finished their Stage 1 upgrades and tested them out both on the dyno and at the drag strip. Check out the videos below to see the results.
