Supercharger or Turbo?

Hi everyone I just got a 2002 GT and im debating wether I should go with a supercharger or turbo. Anyone have any idea which would be best and what brand? Thanks!!!

Depends on your financing and your goals. You can get a nice used S/C kit for about $3k Turbos will be at least twice that.

I would say moderate, im not going to go all out because its an automatic. I just want to have some hp backing up the rumble of the engine.

Like any othr mod it comes down to 1) your goals and 2) your budget. If $$$ is no object I'd go turbo no doubt.

What do you mean you aren't going all out "because it's an auto"? Don't hate on the almighty auto. Some of the fastest cars around are running autos. Granted they're not stock.

I recently put a Vortech V-2 SQ on my 2002 GT. My budget was low, and I wanted good #'s. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'm pushing 421 hp after down tuning it from the initial 440 HP. This winter I plan on installing an intercooler as well.

A turbo is preferable but in my case wasn't affordable.

Auto + turbo or blower for that matter. Autos keep you in boost all the time......you know what I mean.
