Speedometer correction

Hey guys how can I go about correcting my speedometer?

I have 2004 Mustang GT with 4.30 gears put in and 295/35/18 tires put out back.

Did you just install the gears or were they installed when you got the car?

And he didnt correct the speedo?

No he only drove like 100 miles with it then I bought it.

well a speedo correction is a little expensive what i did was i ordered the sct 4 bank eliminator chip, it comes programed with the gears you have and its easy to install and it plugs right into the ecu of the car. and that will fix the problem

if you don't have enough dough for a tuner right now you can buy a speedo corrector box. it wires to you vehicle speed sensor and you can then set it for any combo of gear and tire size. steeda sells them and so does dallas mustang. thats what i had when all i had was gears and it worked very well. its still in the car going on 3 years and it works perfect

i was looking into those and I read that you can go up or down a gear and what not. i have 4.30 gears which is a huge step up
