Now that the Calypso car is almost done I figured I would start a new build thread for my wife and daughter's cruiser.
Here is what I have done so far:
Removed alarm system and fixed some redneck wiring to factory specs.
Changed painted interior to original black including dash and console.
Replaced driver window switch bezel with factory new.
Replaced both front windows and cleaned and lubed regulators.
Replaced fuel filter

Removed "Fauxbra" emblems from the fenders and installed fox body 5.0 emblems. (Original Ford)
Removed Steeda trunk lid decal and replaced with original Ford blue oval decal.
Removed mesh grille and replaced with original Ford running horse.
Removed ricer fender stripes.
Removed hack installed NOS Sniper kit.
Here is what's next for the body:
Rear bumper cover to be painted to cover up the COBRA airbrushing. :nono:
Front bumper cover to be replaced with original Cobra piece.
Wet sand and buff the whole car and clear some forgotten parts.
Replace filler neck seal.
Replace really worn sunvisors with some mint used ones (If I can find any.)
Install new stereo head unit.
Replace 2 center caps.
Engine and drive train:
Install ported '66 289 heads. (54.5 cc chambers with 2.02/1.60 valves)
Trick flow 1.72 ratio roller rockers (keeping stock cam)
Install ported Edelbrock EFI intake, Trick Flow SN-95 elbow and BBK 70mm throttle body.
BBK ceramic coated 1 5/8"long tube headers
BBK off road x-pipe
Magnaflow mufflers
Replace AODE with my own home built C-4
2,500 stall street convertor
aluminum drive shaft
Replace 4.10 gears with 3.27's
Rebuild carrier and add extra clutches
Raise front suspension 1/2". (Too low with k-member brace)
Install front Cobra brakes.
I have all the parts to do the job exceopt for the sunvisors, stereo, convertor and front springs. Just need to fing the right springs so I can order them.
