Sooooo, what does this tune stuff usually cost..

My car has been 'done' for quite a few years, but was done with a call in tune for my chip. The car pretty much runs way too rich when it's cold and way too lean when it's hot....and oh so nice on those cool summer nights. lol

I want that all the time.

So what is involved with a tuning? Do they re-burn the chip I have or provide a new one? And what is a ballpark of getting this gone? Not looking for a price quote to hold someone to, just an idea to see if it's something I'd plan for this summer or wait until next year.

Found some general pricing info in another thread, so I guess the only remaining question I have is, what kind of chip do I need? Can my current JMS chip be used and reburned?
