The ‘Bad Penny’ Mustang by Classic Design Concepts is one of the stars of the Ford booth here at the SEMA Show, and it’s no surprise given CDC’s history with creating custom Mustangs. The car is showing off many of the company’s latest products, like the upper grille, hood accents or side splitter, all with a black and copper theme that can be found throughout both the exterior and interior. Ford Racing played a large role with the car as well, providing the 624 horsepower supercharger system, side exhaust kit, adjustable shocks and lowering springs, while Wilwood stepped up with their big brake kit front and rear. A look inside ‘Bad Penny’ reveals a custom interior done by CDC including recovered Recaro seats, a rear seat delete and a Kicker audio system.
