SCT SF3 OR Diablosport tuners?

I have it enabled but it will not select a rpm range now that I tuned it with it off. This is a known issue with this hand held. I can select them and program them in but all it does is waste a change, since the SCTs only have so many adjustments before you have to buy more to alter the car again(which is gay).
seeing how i have experence with both the sct live wire and sf3 along with the diablo predator for the 96 to 04 2 valve cars ill pipe in...
sct is a more agressive tune stock for stock.. a typical sct unit will make your car more prone to detonation and its more tempermental when it comes to fuel grade and the more mods you have the better off you are with a custom sct tune rather then an out of box experence.. diablo on the other hand straight out of the box works great for naturaly asperated cars with or without mods.. however detonates wide open throttle at around 4500rpm in third and at 5000rpm in fifth wot..thats what ive found to be true with my car stock and modified.. granted all mustangs are not created equal but if anything it gives you a little to chew on before you make a final decission.. but remember regardless a custom tune for either will work wonders.. i hear diablo custom tunes do very very well for naturaly asperated cars but im sure sct tunes are just as good when custom to your parts.
sct live wire gives you more options and a wider veriaty of those options.. the diablo predator is somwhat limited as far as maf and injectors go however gives you 10 degrees of timing in either direction where the sct only gives you an advance of 4+ or -14
your best bet is to call them up or download the manuals for each one and read thru them.. their not that large and take little to read entirely..
sf3 isnt much different from the live wire other than the data loging and a few of the options.
The Xcal2 says I have only 5 changes remaining. Which I was told lessens each time I rewrite the computer.
The speed limiter is off and I have adjusted the rpm range for neutral limits and drive limits but my car doesn't accept them. I have accidentally had my car over 7200 with a drive limit of 5900. The car just doesn't accept the parameter.

I can say that since I uploaded my SCT tune, Ive gotten some bad gas ( both times at BP by the way ) but was able to correct it with some good octane boost...........
But maybe Jammirez is right............there have been a number of times this past year I get major pinging in the upper rpm's for the gay.
Does anybody know............I have the SCal3...........I uploaded the tune ( 93 performance) but is there anything else the handheld unit allows me to do??
