The U-joints Quit?? At least he made a few passes. He didn't do another 6k launch did he??

Ack, been there:

I blew the rear, the photographer behind me saw confetti coming out the back, drive shaft snapped and hit and lifted me up i hit the roof with my head. safety loop wasn't put on . i was lucky.

So my day want like this....4th run of the day i launch the car at 4500 car dead hooks and boom i snapped the brand new heavy duty u joints on the yoke of the transmision...put the cobra on trailer and start racing the benz...well the benz was running like shit all day. And by the 5th run the transmision was toast.throw that on the trailer...im about to leave and i see my truk leaking some fluid turns out i have a hole in the radiator...so i was 3 for 3 but the fluff is running like a champ and it will be out this weekend handing out beatings

Sucks about the truck and the benz, the fluff is an easy fix.

Its all good Greggory,the benz and truck are under factory warranty anyway.so simple fix there as well...i will see you with the fluff on sunday
