Excellent! People down in LB still have no heat but they have electricity I believe it's the same in rockaway and other southern parts of LI. The real issue is that the people lost their homes are now located in shelters. I really don't think there's anything too specific because at this point everything's still important, but I would recommend anything regarding warmth like jackets, gloves, etc. checks made out to the groups specified above would also be seen as helpful.
