Hello all,

We have set up an event to collect money and supplies for Sandy victims. We are donating the supplies and money to three separate charities: Nassau Community College Foundation, Greybeards (organization focused in the Rockaways) and the Cornucopia Society. Anyones welcome to come and join. We will meet at around 8am and stay til around 3pm.

Please email me at kormanandrew@yahoo.com if you have questions about the event, I would really like to see this become a success.

If anyone has a large truck or anyone willing to carry supplies that would also be appreciated. Thanks.

just saying ..... appears alot of peoples will be attending the grill 454 (commack) event.
i have donated funds to another resource available to the families of the Sandy cause.
i myslef cannot commit to 12/2 at this time.
great job .... keep it going if you can. :rock:

yes I plan to attend that event. However im keeping this event open for ANYONE or any car group willing to make donations. I will try to keep it running

Maybe try and reschedule it to meet at the 454 grill
Sunday morning at 9am
There are about 200 cars there every Sunday and would get some legs on it from
Other clubs that meet there.
Let's set this up.
Make a 2 week event starting this week and next!
You can pass out flyers at the grill
And invite people to join in and meet them face to face!
Also gives people here a chance to meet up with you there as well.
Trust me this is not my first time at the rodeo! Lol

Oh and I will be the guy who froze his ass off driving a blue 1925 ford t bucket

It's gonna be fine the parking lot is huge
On really nice mornings it gets full
But theres always room to park

Nice....Good looking out Wildponies. I didn't k ow this show was year round, or maybe Al told me and I was too cold to listen last week. That's is a beautiful car u have there Wildponies.....beautiful.

It's a car meet that started in the beginning of the summer and started to grow little at a time!
Not to far away and no state troopers to deal with, like down at the OBI or cap tree
Also plenty of parking!
They have a good deal also for $3 you get a coffee and bagel
Or you can order breakfast in the grill!

Im very excited to see how this turns out! Like Steve said I had recieved a lot of positive reaction for the folks that had showed up today. I would REALLY like to see a turnout from this website also, would like to meet some of the people here on the website.

And yes steve im running for Chairman. RedBeast2012 :rock:
