Keep in mind I did drive the car a little over 30 miles with no issues. I spent a whole weekend traveling this state looking at Mustangs and trust me when I tell you, I looked at some cars that were better used for enduro racing than trying to be passed off as a car that was worth fixing. I knew when I Left Jen's father's house that night that her car was most likely going to be the one I decided to buy and I DON'T REGRET IT!!! Let's also keep in mind the car is a '91 and was not bought new by Jen's family. Can they say positively what happened to the car prior to their buying it? No. It's a chance we take whenever we buy a used car and after doing this for so long, something like this will happen. It's just the way it is. Am I happy? No, of course not. Do I blame Jen or her father or God knows who else? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Shit happens and this time it was just my turn. plain and simple.
As for "throwing" another engine together, I could do that. However, I can also take my time and build a durable, streetable, performance engine that will last me MANY miles and I won't have to worry about doing things twice. Call me stupid, but I just have a real issue doing things over when I don't have to. I haven't made any decisions yet and when I do I'll be sure to let everyone know what I decide.
I hope I was able to clear any confusion up.
