Programmer/Tuner

Guys,
I'm looking for some info and feedback re: Programmers? What have your experiences been?? I have an '07 GT, Dynamax exhaust & K&N intake.

From what I hear on a 3v like yours a hand held tuner and cold air intake makes a hell of a difference! I have a SCT Xcal 3 tuner but I drive a 2v...It does its job

I recommend the SCT3. Its a great tuner and i never hear any complaints about it. It was what I ran in my car and it made a big difference.

Ya go with a Xcal3. Ive got a xcal2 because thats what my tuner used at the time. Ive heard only good things about the xcal3.

SCT Xcal3. Get a real intake with a real tuner, get some tunes for it and you will see a HUGE difference.

Many reputable tuners will offer packages that include the tuner, intake and tunes preloaded onto the tuner.

Agreed, X3 is great.

I have used the Flashpaq tuner and the x3 is so much easier and better to use. And also, the SCT software is used for custom Dyno tuning in a majority of shops, this helps the tuner and yourself in the long run.

SCT X3! You will not be disappointed. It was the first thing I got and it supported everything I have done and I believe it will support everything I plan on doing to this car.

Either SCT or Diablo, SCT is more widely used if looking at getting the car custom tuned at a dyno. But contrary to what some say it makes no difference in the software used, it's all the person doing the tuning. Diablo actually has the largest gains right now on the 2011 5.0, and the fastest 3V Mustang is also tuned with Diablosport CMR...
