Possible Pulley Problem

I had an issue with my car breaking up BAD any time I tried to boost. The car would drive fine under normal conditions.

In the end it ended up being my cylinder #4 coil. It was pretty easy to tell which one was bad, mine had arch marks all over the plug, coil tube, and COP boot.

When does the car hesitate? Just under boost? All the time?

I'm pretty sure it's a coil pack.. Thats what Joey from mm thought.. Just gotta figure out which one..

Hesitates mainly under boost.. Once in a while at idle.

You should be able tell pretty easily. The culprit is usually one of the coils closest to the firewall on either side. My plugs had 100 miles on them and the one plug look real bad compared to the others.

Yeah man! I think it was the condensation from randomly starting my car in the dead of winter and letting it warm up after it would sit for a month or so.

The coil looked like it had been sitting in water or had gotten wet.

We will get subzero going soon enough!

Good deal Bladez ^^^^!! ...Sure sounds like SubZero's prob! ....He did have a few lean looking plugs as well!

We'll fix the hesitation and breaking up under boost first. Hopefully he can find out which coil it is.

Once thats resolved, he'll have to look at his tune and see what the car is running at to see how lean it is.

Hey subzero, this is tom with the cobra for sale in canandaigua. I have an extra set of weapon x coils for sale. I picked up 27 rwhp and 27 rwtq with them on my cobra that I looking to sell. They are brand new if you are interested. I did a base run with the stock coils then put in my set of weapon x's and did another run to find the gain. You may not pick up that much since I have the KB, but I'm sure you can pick up close to 15 or so. They will also str8ten out your torque curve, as well as fix your stutter. They are awesome. They are around $480 buying from a dealer but I would let them go less than that. Let me know....
