Got the new Big Oval and power plenum bolted on.

The vacuum noise under the hood from the K&N is more than noticable with the volume of air going through.

Waiting for delivery of the 3.2 upper and the Deka #60 injectors. Then off to "Tunes-ville" for installation of those items and the sct2600. I'll leave there with some extra beef under my seat!:awesomework:

The injectors should balance it out nicely, I have the accufab and love it.

Btw, I would spent a little more on a better radar, those are the type of things you buy once in a long time so might as well buy the best, I have the 9500ix and its just very good, saved my ass so many times with its killer long range detection.

Before putting the accufab, so it was all stage 6 ported, and just the 8lb lower I was maxing out the injectors which happens at 501rwhp. The prior dyno, by previous owner, had no porting with the 8lb and was 453 rwhp / 473 rwtq.

I like the stage 6 because it was jumping into boost super fast, free, and easy. It was like a different car. The charts I've seen put boost with an 8lb lower and stock upper at 13.7lbs, not 8+8 like it sounds. IMO, I don't think it makes even that much.

Truth be told, as far as I'm concerned, the stock plenum and tb, ported or not are restricting what the engine and supercharger can do by starving it for air. With all the porting, the actual twin blade opening itself doesn't change diameter, so while the air flows easier and the eaton is more efficient (no doubts) the cfm is still something like 1089. The single blade is just a shade under 1700 cfm. I swear as soon as I fired it up with the accufab the giant sucking sound at the K&N was unmistakable!

According to my dyno guy, the tb setup alone is worth about 2lbs boost.

If you look in my albums, you'll see very clear comparisons of the stock vs stage 6 parts.

Thanks for that input, bud. I'll take another look and check your model out. Maybe I'll cancel that order and upgrade on your advice.

As far as the accufab goes, yeah, it's ****ing awesome. One look at the size of the power plenum and the tb opening tells you there's no other way to go! I looked at the BBK twins but figured why **** around. Just get the good shit and you know air flow will never be an issue.
