The final event of the Formula Drift season is at Irwindale Speedway this weekend, and 2010 champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. came with more than just his competition Mustang. He also brought out his 1969 Mustang RTR-X to display in the paddock, and it was definitely one of the crowd favorites. We’ve seen the car a few times since it made its debut at SEMA including its first test session out at Willow Springs Raceway, and it continues to be one of the best looking classic Mustangs we have laid eyes on. The individual throttle bodies poking above the hood and the cantilever suspension at the rear simply ooze cool.
