I just ordered today all four new Nankang NS-1 245/45/17's. Should help my traction and hydroplaning. Bought them off of tireeasy.com for $292 shipped to my house. Tires should last awhile as i don't have the power to burn them like other people do.
wernt you talking about lowering your car? youll be taking your turns a lot harder as result, maybe hit a few autocross events, that will burn some tire!
FYI, I had nankangs before, and they were a terrible tire for me. I got rid of them after a couple of months. Noisy, weak traction, wore unevenly, and squealed around every little corner...
I bought some Sumitomos from American Muscle for $384 shipped and they are great so far. Awesome in the dry and in the rain! For a budget tire they are great. My cousin had Nangkang and they were ehhh.
Isnt it funny how they ship tires, no packaging just a tie wrap and a pat on the black, hahah. I was shocked when i had a set delivered, just never though about it.
