New Sean Hyland 5.0 Supercharger 600+fwhp!!!

I wonder how the durability of the engine will be. But still so far this is the only supercharger that I know of that is available for the 5.0. Thought it was interesting to say the least

There are others trickling in. Although the one for the Shelby GT350 will make less horsepower with a lower psi rating (I guess they have to warranty it).

Yeah I know Shelby and Roush are working on superchargers for the 5.0 but they havent been released yet. I know that the N/A versions of the GT350s are being released by Shelby but so far nothing for the F/I version. And I know Roush is still working on their Stage 3 kit as well. And SMS I believe has a verion too but I forget if theirs is released yet or not

ahh yeah, very nice, that didn't take long, looks like CR a non-issue. i noticed from the dyno graph that the boost didn't come up as quick as a termi or gt500 but the extra 500RPM at the top end would be real nice.

I would wait to see long term results before concluding that the CR is a non issue, but this is the most promising setup I've seen so far.

Fair enough from the point of whether or not the kit will work on all new 5.0 with similar tuning and be repeatable and that this is not just a one off case. If it can, the only long term evaluation will be how well the internals will hold up to that kind of power production . . . . And at those high RPM's. . . . .and for how long.

I think it will be very reliable. It says it runs low boost and 91 octane gas so I can see it spitting out connecting rods unless somebody start messing with the tune.

looks alright but with time they will have much better aftermarket supercharges need some time for trial and error. . .

I asked Saleens Reps at MustangWeek about the supercharged 5.0s in there cars they said They are in process of working with Ford with PCM and emissions..

I think that is what everyone is currently waiting on but :idk: ... I did hear some rumors that Shelby and Roush blew up a few engines in the process
