Been here for a bit but my 65 coupe has been a non-work in progress for a long time. Finally resolved to the fact that life isnt letting me get to it as fast as I would like.

So long story short bought my dream car since I was a kid, I hope to run into others with similar cars so I can pick some brains. This pic is from the seller but it is in my garage now, as soon as we get some decent weather again should be posting some more with a NY background...

Yes 351C 4bbl, came originally with an FMX auto but has a c6 now. Has a good list of original options like the slats, wheels, spoiler which were all important to me.

Oh man that's my dream car right there. Probably my favorite Mustang ever! If you're ever interested in getting it detailed give me a holler. :awesomework:

Was always mine as well, not a lot of people like the Grabber Orange though you either love it or hate it.

I have seen some reco's from other members so when its get dirty I will let you know. Came pretty clean from texas and I am trying to keep it that way. First time I get caught in a rain storm I will probably be pretty pissed.

Mike been following your build for a while, I am a technical nerd so I may be asking you some questions in the not so distant future about a few things. I have gotten a few reco's from some other sites for good books to really break down the car as it would have come from the factory. Not that I want to really change anything I just want to know everything about the car and when I see other cars, be able to ID what is different and why.

That's a beautiful mach you have there.Best of luck with it, I've never had a 70 but I always liked them. I was involved with them through friends owning them over the years. Do you still have the 65 as well?

Still have the coupe, I am really on the fence about it. Right now since I am not really out much on it and it wouldnt be worth much I am keeping it. I would like to putter with it and not have to worry about time constraints but reality might be a different story. I would like to give that to my two sons if I ever get it done.

Thats cool, I think we all have one that got away. I had a 93 coupe lx 5.0 in 02 it was mint with 20k miles on it. Guy turned in front of me at a stop light and i t boned him doing 60. Totalled the car but i bought it back should have fixed it and kept it but I sold it to some guy that wanted to drag race it.

Very nice. I like it a lot but I may be biased LOL Would love to see more pics.

If you want an FMX for it, or just to have it, I have one I'd let go for $50.
