Hi guys my name is Resvon , i live in NYC, Queens... a lot of ppl told me that mustangs are really nice and fun to drive.. I currently don`t have a mustang i drive an 06 sonata 3.3l V6. And i want more !
I`m interested in an mustang GT not older than 2000. and not really looking to spend more than 10k on it. Is that possible ?

And, are they reliable ? Will it break down on me 2 months after i buy it or will i sell it after 5 years with absolutely nothing changed on it ? lol. In case something breaks is it expensive to fix ? Not exactly the type of guy who wants to spend money on FIXING a car.. rather spend it on MODDING it :). I`m sure you know what i mean and what i need to know.. so thank in you in advance, hope to hear from you !

Welcome. You won't be disappointed. As long as you take care of the car, it will take care of you. You could get yourself one for that price range, probably from the early 2000's. Check the classifieds on this site, and also check eBay and other places.

A few questions... about prices..

-Tires ?
-Oil change ?
-Brakes ?

I have a pretty aggressive driving style and i drive a lot... so i`ll need those more often =] lol

Any common problems with the car ?

Thanks ! Looking forward to learning more about stangs.. always loved them, but now since i`m coming close of buying my own car, it`s time to get to know whats up with the car lol. i`m sure i`ll learn lots of stuff here, very cool website !

A little update on this thread, since it seems like i`m stuck with you guys ( fell in love with the stang ).

My name is Resvon. I`m 18, moved to NYC in december 2007, from Romania. I`m still in high-school, 11th grade.... it sux but w/e life goes on.. Now i drive an 06 sonata with a 235HP 3.3l v6 engine.. pretty decent but nah, not for me.. Besides that, i`m sick and tired of my dad keep taking and giving me the keys ( i do lots of bad stuff =\ so he has reasons to take the keys lol ). So i`m looking for cars.. so far this seems the best choice.. It`s gonna be a few months till i`ll have the money for it but i`ll learn lots of stuff by then and be prepared for my stang.

Anything else... i work as a tennis coach at Midtown Tennis Club... Don`t have much of a social life since i wake up at 6 everyday, and go back home at 7PM.... weekends are pretty much my only escape... well.. i guess thats pretty much it... any questions, feel free to ask
