Hello all, long time lurker finally decided to join and my first post. I met a few of you at the opening weekend at the Glen, I rode down with my buddy in his 72 Mach. I am a long winded typer so bare with me.
I joined awhile ago and have been meaning to get pics of my car before I posted but its in storage and in pieces. I have 65 coupe that I have owned since high school, some 15 years now. I bought it not running and apart and its still not running or together. Dont have any plans to sell but life just kind of slips on by and before you know it 15 years is gone. It's my own fault but between distracted priorities, being out of state for awhile, and now a 1 year old I dont really have the cash to work on it now. My dad is a body guy so I have it lucky and he also owns a car in pieces so one step at a time I guess.
I also owned a mint 93 5.0 Reef Blue LX with 25,000 miles at the time in 1999. It was totaled in a car accident in NC and I bought it back from the insurance company. Sold it to someone in NY that was going to rebuild it, I would love to see that car again.
I attend a lot of shows so I am sure I will see a lot of you around. I hope to get working on the car sometime soon and hope to help out the guys in the classic section.
