Hey guys. A memeber of yet another forum...lol. Don't know what to say besides car details. I have a 99 cobra that I procharged last winter. I spent the summer working out the bugs and having it tuned. I thought it was finished, then had problems with the fuel system so I just bought the 03 Tank and pumps (which I should have done in the first place). This winter I plan on installing the tank and pumps, new wheel and tire combo, and MMFLSFC's. Hopefully, I will be able to get to the track in the spring.

I will probably be on this site quite a bit so hopefully I will be able to help someone out and maybe attend some of the upcoming events.

I also have a 99 Cobra..I was thinking of installing a nos system instead of a procharger...just a 100 dry shot...
Do you like the hp gains on you car from the procharger?

I bought the sc used (never again). When I installed it there were a bunch of little parts (threaded rod, nuts, bolts, hoses, etc) that I had to get from the parts store. No biggie, I just didn't realize until I am at the garage, 20 minutes away.
I had to swap my stock parts (maf sensor, intake, injectors, coolant crossover pipe) with the guy I bought the kit from. Since, I have been buying stock parts in the event that I return N/A.
The tuner told me the MAF was going to be pegged. I didn't believe it seeing as though it was a used setup. The other guy had no problems. On the dyno the maf pegged. I had to buy a mafia.
My car never had the "fix" so I bought an 04 Mach 1 lower intake and installed it.
While retuning through datalogging and email (another story of its own) I found out the duty cycle of the pump that I bought (SVT Focus-recommended buy the seller) was at 100% at 4300 rpm. I had to buy a KB BAP.
From there, I started getting a shift hesitation. I pulled the tank once again and did the PPRV delete. Still didn't take care of it. Turns out the Focus Pump reacts slow. I bought the 03 tank and pumps which I haven't installed yet. That is what is going to be my project for this winter.
To do it all over again, I would know what to do and what to avoid. I don't regret anything as I have learned a ton about my car. I just would have done things right the first time.

I am from clinton county. It is the furthest northeast you can go in the state, on the borders of canada and vermont. I see you are from Newburgh? I have been working in Fishkill the last couple of years and hope to transfer home soon. Tons of nice cars down that way as opposed to up here. I have even seen a Ford GT.

those things are a dime a dozen down here...every rich car guy on the Island has one..oh to have money..must be nice...:smash:

There are 3 of them that run around up here, a red with white stripes, a white with blue stripes, and tungsten gray one. There are a lot of BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, and some occasional Ferrari. I'll stick with my poor mans sports car but man would I love just to even ride in a GT.:headbang:
